Reporting to the Senior Manager Motor Assessing, you'll lead the performance of Tower's repair network across New Zealand's panel and paint sector.
This isn't a traditional supplier relationship role. Success comes from understanding the automotive repair industry, using data and commercial insight to identify opportunities, and working with suppliers to deliver measurable improvements in customer outcomes, quality and cost efficiency.
Your day-to-day will look like
- Develop and implement strategies that improve repair network performance, customer outcomes and cost efficiency.
- Influence and formalise supplier agreements that deliver best practice quality, service and commercial outcomes.
- Work with suppliers to develop capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Embed and maintain Tower's customer value proposition across the repair network.
- Train and support internal teams to drive understanding, adoption and advocacy.
- Lead the performance of Tower's repair network through agreed performance measures, cost efficiency and strong supplier performance, knowing that quality and repair cycle times are critical to customer experience.
- Develop reporting and governance frameworks that drive accountability across the repair network.
- Proactively seek out data and insights, identifying opportunities to improve repair network performance and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Represent Tower within the industry to support supplier performance and network objectives.
Success in the first 6–12 months will look like:
- Delivering measurable improvements in supplier performance, customer experience and cost efficiency.
- Establishing strong, trusted relationships across Tower's repair network.
- Identifying and implementing data-led improvements that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Creating greater transparency and accountability through effective reporting and performance governance.
- Strengthening Tower's position as a preferred partner within New Zealand's automotive repair sector.
