We're looking for an experienced banking professional to join our Corporate Banking team as an Associate Client Director.

Working alongside a Client Director, you'll support the management and growth of a portfolio of corporate clients while helping attract new-to-bank relationships. You'll develop client plans, provide strategic advice, lead credit submissions, and collaborate across ASB's specialist product teams to deliver tailored solutions that create meaningful value for customers.

This is a highly visible role where you'll build strong relationships with business leaders, contribute to complex financing opportunities, and support clients through every stage of their banking journey. You'll also work closely with Risk Management teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that balance customer outcomes with sound risk management.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Supporting the management and growth of a Corporate client portfolio.
• Developing and executing client strategies aligned to industry opportunities and customer needs.
• Leading credit analysis and credit writing for new business opportunities.
• Supporting transaction origination, structuring, negotiation and execution.
• Partnering closely with Risk and Product teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
• Building trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs and senior decision-makers.
• Identifying opportunities to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships.
• Representing ASB within key industry networks and events where appropriate.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Experience within Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking, Investment Banking or wider Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of corporate lending, financing structures and treasury solutions.
• Proven financial analysis, modelling and credit risk management capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
• A track record of managing complex client relationships and delivering customer-focused outcomes.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
