The Role

Reporting within the Finance team, the Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for processing and paying invoices from a diverse supplier base, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Delegated Authority guidelines. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, keeping the accounts payable function running smoothly across Precinct, its subsidiaries, and third-party capital investment entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate, timely data entry and processing of invoices within Esker
  • End-to-end processing and payment of invoices across construction, rates, utilities, marketing and the wider business
  • Ensure prompt payment discount invoices are paid within required timeframes
  • Monitor and resolve invoices on hold
  • Set up and maintain vendor records
  • Manage supplier queries and reconciliations
  • Assist with payment runs and broader AP administration
  • Ensure all capex invoices carry valid project codes

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar accounts payable role
  • Previous experience using Esker highly regarded
  • Experience within a large, multi-entity company structure
  • Property sector experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
  • High attention to detail and strong initiative
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and stay calm under pressure
