We're looking for a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join the team and contribute to a wide range of risk and compliance activities across Personal Banking. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, relationship building, problem solving, and working with people across the business to drive positive outcomes.
Te Tūranga | The role
As a Risk & Compliance Analyst, you'll support the effective management of risk and compliance within Personal Banking by applying risk frameworks, delivering high-quality risk activities, and helping strengthen the division's control environment.
In This Role, You'll
- Support a range of risk and compliance activities including risk assessments, control reviews, remediation activities, reporting, and self-assessments.
- Assist with governance and reporting activities, including reporting to Personal Banking Risk & Compliance Committees.
- Help monitor risks, issues, incidents, and action plans across the business.
- Support initiatives that strengthen risk culture and improve risk maturity.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on risk and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to risk capability uplift activities, including training, communications, and awareness initiatives.
- Work closely with teams across Personal Banking to support business objectives and improve risk outcomes.

- Experience in financial services, banking, risk, compliance, governance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Confidence building relationships and working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A curious mindset and willingness to learn new areas of risk and compliance.
- The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your work.
