That's why we're excited to introduce a newly created role within our People Systems & Analytics team. As our People Data Product Owner, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and leading our People Data strategy, helping establish the foundations, governance, and products that will enable smarter workforce decisions across ASB.

Reporting to the Head of People Systems & Analytics, you'll sit at the intersection of People, Data, Technology and Risk, leading the evolution of our People Data products and capability. This is a unique opportunity to shape a growing discipline and influence how People Data is managed, governed and leveraged across the organisation.

Te tūranga | The role

As the People Data Product Owner, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of People Data products, ensuring they are trusted, discoverable, secure and aligned to business needs. You'll develop and drive the People Data roadmap, establish governance and ownership frameworks, improve data quality, and champion the adoption of People Data products across ASB.

Working closely with stakeholders from across People, Technology, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Privacy and Risk, you'll translate strategic objectives into meaningful data solutions that improve decision-making and deliver long-term value.

You'll bring a combination of strategic thinking, data expertise and stakeholder leadership, alongside experience working in complex environments where data governance, quality and risk management are critical.

You'll Ideally Have

• Experience owning and evolving data products across their lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality and stewardship practices
• An understanding of People data, workforce analytics or HR technology environments
• Experience navigating privacy, risk and regulatory requirements
• The ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups
• A track record of translating strategic priorities into practical roadmaps and outcomes

Most importantly, you'll be curious, collaborative and passionate about using data to create better outcomes for people.
