About the Role
We're looking for a Data Insights Engineer to help shape the way our business harnesses data and turns it into meaningful business value. Reporting to the Data Insights & Business Intelligence Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our data environment, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, reliable, and ready to support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Working with large and diverse data sets, you'll design, build, and maintain the infrastructure, pipelines, and tools that enable efficient data management and analytics. You'll also identify opportunities to improve business processes, enhance data accessibility, and solve complex challenges through innovative technology solutions. By combining your technical expertise with a "Hungry for Better" mindset, you'll empower teams across the business to unlock insights, drive performance, and make confident, data-driven decisions.

What You’ll Bring
You're an energetic and adaptable data professional with a real passion for making a difference. Pragmatic in your approach and driven by continuous improvement, you thrive in evolving environments and embrace modern ways of working. Excited by innovation and innovative technology, you're keen to help shape the future of data and analytics. In addition, you’ll bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with IT business application software, supporting business functions in terms of analysis, development, reporting, and training.
- Relevant qualifications (Diploma / degree) in Computer Science or relevant IT tertiary qualification.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft/Azure Data Stack compliant and reporting tool experience, particularly SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and Azure Synapse.
- Experience with Azure data solutions or multidimensional data models/cubes would be advantageous.
