We're looking for a passionate and customer-focused Customer Specialist to join our team in Whanganui.

Te tūranga | The role

As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the face of ASB for many of our customers, helping them with their everyday banking needs while delivering exceptional service and personalised solutions.

From opening accounts and assisting with transactions to educating customers on digital banking and connecting them with the right specialists, you'll play an important role in helping our customers achieve their goals.

Our Whanganui branch is a Monday to Friday location, offering a great opportunity to build lasting customer relationships while enjoying a consistent weekday roster.

You'll Be Someone Who

• Loves helping people and making their day better
• Has experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales or a similar people-focused environment
• Is confident communicating with a diverse range of customers
• Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions
• Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Thrives in a team environment and enjoys learning new skills
• Is comfortable embracing technology and supporting customers to use digital banking tools

Banking experience is helpful but not essential. We'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
