The Out Patient Clinic at Woodend Hospital, is seeking to employ an enthusiastic, caring and motivated staff nurse.

You should be hardworking and have a genuine interest in orthopaedics to join our busy fast paced department.

You will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of person-centred care within the wide variety of Consultant, Orthopaedic minor Procedure and Nurse Led Clinics.

You will be a suitably qualified nurse and will develop, and / or further develop skills in providing specialist care for patients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions.

Orthopaedic Out Patient clinic runs Monday to Friday, with around 300-400 patients passing through our service each week.

We also run a dedicated nurse led service, various procedure clinics and AHP/Nurse led Hand Trauma clinics.

Do you have good communication and interpersonal skills and are caring, hardworking and flexible? Then this exciting opportunity is for you.

Previous orthopaedic nursing experience and orthopaedic skills would be essential.

Clinic experience is also preferred, including up to date wound care skills.
