Walking School Bus 'Driver'

We are looking for volunteers that enjoy working with youth and walking. We are wanting to start a walking school bus to get tamariki within our catchment to and from school each day.

We are working with Council and NZTA to create the best route for our tamariki to get to and from school safely while having fun.

Requirements

Physically fit to walk 1.5 kms twice a day.

Calm nature and enjoy working with children from age 5 to 10

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time Commitment

Approx. 40 minutes in the morning between 7:50am and 40 minutes in the afternoon from 3:00 pm
