Te Tūranga / About the Role
As a Technical Administrator at our Finegand site, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to the Laboratory and Technical Services functions, ensuring compliance with company procedures and legislative requirements while supporting reporting, quality and operational activities.
Working closely with Laboratory and Technical teams, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate records, generating reports, coordinating documentation and supporting technical processes across the site. With the support of the wider team, you will also have opportunities to contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administrator looking to further develop their career within a fast-paced operational environment.
Standard hours: Mon- Friday 8am to 4.30pm
Te Mahi / Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Laboratory and Technical teams.
- Generating and distributing laboratory reports, letters and technical documentation.
- Preparing, filing and archiving reports, records and laboratory worksheets.
- Supporting customer enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with report writing, including traceability, recall and KPI reporting.
- Recording meeting minutes and maintaining technical documentation.
- Contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
- Assisting with the review and improvement of procedures and systems.

To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You will have strong communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders while delivering accurate and timely administrative support.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
- Experience in an administration, quality, laboratory or technical support environment would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
