This is a great opportunity to join our Housekeeping Team as we are recruiting for two roles:

• Houseperson
• Room Attendant

Houseperson

This Is An Essential Part Of Everyday Operations, Providing Support To Housekeeping Operations Through The Provision Of All Hotel Linen, Chemicals And Deliveries Throughout The Shift. You Will Be Responsible For Some Tasks That Will Require The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Items So Good Base Fitness And Strength Would Be An Advantage. You Will Have The Responsibility Of Ensuring:

• All equipment is cleaned correctly; storerooms and trolleys are kept neat and in good working order.
• All corridors are free of trays, linen trolleys or cages.
• Assistance and excellence in service is given to the wider team and our guests
• The Head Housekeeper is assisted in managing the stock levels of linen and guest supplies.
• Scheduled preventive cleaning is carried out in our guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards.
• Housekeeping trolleys are restocked with clean linen and amenities to ensure they are fully prepared for daily operations.
• Clean linen is stored in the designated housekeeping storeroom, ensuring stock is organized, rotated, and maintained to the required standard.
• Assistance with the removal of rollaway beds and cots.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper/ Supervisor to support the efficient operation of the Housekeeping department.

Room Attendant

This Role Is An Integral Part Of Ensuring Our Guest Journey Is a Positive One As First Impressions Count! Attention To Detail, a Willingness To Learn And Good Base Fitness And Strength Will Be Important As You Will Be Responsible For:

• Ensuring excellence in room cleaning standards within set time frames in order to enhance our guest experience.
• Clean all assigned guest rooms including dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenishing rooms with amenities & supplies.
• Following departmental policies, procedures and service standards.
• Consistently offering professional, friendly and engaging service.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
• A positive can do attitude.
• High level of physical fitness and ability.
• Responsible, mature & reliable.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with ease.
• Works well under pressure and to timelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well both individually and part of a wider team.
