We’re looking for a 3-Waters Machine Operator / General Hand to join our Construction Project Resources team in Dunedin. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help deliver good work safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll be part of a team that backs each other, gets stuck in, and takes real pride in what we build for our communities.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Carry out 3-Waters and pavement works as required.
  • Drive and operate plant and machinery safely and professionally when required.
  • Keep plant and machinery maintained and report repair needs promptly.
  • Follow daily instructions and work closely with your manager and site crew.
  • Help deliver work that meets safety, quality, time, and budget expectations.

  • Physical able to work on the ground and in trenches throughout the day
  • Current Class 1 and W, T, R endorsements driver licence on day one.
  • Class 2 licence preferred, or willingness to gain them with our support.
  • Experience in 3-Waters and pavement construction is preferred.
  • A strong focus on safety, reliability, and showing up ready to get the job done.
  • Basic technology skills, including confidence using an iPad, and the ability to carry out the inherent requirements of the role.
