We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing team at Marsh. This role will be based in Auckland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marketing and Events Specialist

In this 12-month fixed term position, you will lead the planning and delivery of key New Zealand events and support wider marketing projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders to shape clear event concepts, align activity to commercial priorities, and support lead generation and relationship-building outcomes.

We will count on you to

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand commercial objectives , growth priorities, client needs, and market opportunities, and translate them into clear event briefs and outcomes

  • Provide event advisory support by shaping requests into clear, outcome-driven concepts with defined audiences, messaging, and success measures

  • Lead Tier 1 event strategy and planning, including format selection , experience design, and attendee journey mapping

  • Ensure event activity aligns with campaigns and business development plans to support lead generation, relationship objectives , and brand reputation

  • Oversee event reporting and insights, translating results into recommendations and improvements for future activity

  • Manage the NZ Marketing & Communications budget, including forecasting, tracking, monthly reconciliations, and spend updates for the Marketing Leader

  • Deliver one-off marketing projects as assigned, taking ownership of defined workstreams and outcomes while ensuring compliance with brand, legal, risk, privacy, and regulatory requirements

What you need to have

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex events end to end in a corporate, professional services, or agency environment

  • Experience managing budgets and supplier or vendor relationships

  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, senior speakers, and competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail

  • Capability to work with senior leaders and deliver marketing or event outcomes in a fast-paced environment
