As a Pricing Estimator reporting to the Pricing Estimator Manager - Lower Central Hub, you'll provide competitive prices and accurate estimates on building materials and products for our trade customers, ensuring our customers are fully prepared for construction while delivering exceptional service standards within required timeframes.
You will need to manage estimate documentation from both internal and external sources while ensuring price increases and freight charges are reviewed and applied when applicable. You will need to support the tender processes from start to finish to increase/generate sales.
While this role is currently based in Taita, Lower Hutt, we will be moving to Upper Hutt in 2027. To be successful in this busy role, you will need to:
- Guarantee timely and precise quotations including the submission of schedules and share of wallet outsourced items.
- Maintain an efficient filing system.
- Minimize quantity surveying expenses through collaboration and coordination with manufacturing and internal sales teams.
- Collaborate with and cultivate relationships with local representatives from our preferred suppliers.
