About the Role
We're looking for a Procurement and Contracts Manager to contribute towards and manage ICT procurement activities, support transformation projects, and provide expert guidance across the organisation. This role is ideal for a pragmatic professional with strong vendor and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage ICT-related contracts and vendor negotiations.
- Develop procurement plans and strategies.
- Support transformation and investment initiatives.
- Provide procurement advice to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with procurement practices.
Skills & Experience
We seek a candidate with proven experience in government procurement, especially in ICT contracts. The ideal individual will be pragmatic, relationship-oriented, and comfortable challenging when necessary.
- Strong understanding of government procurement principles.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- An ability to hold firm, and push back on requests that dont meet procurement requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with internal ICT stakeholders and external vendors.
- Sound judgment and pragmatic approach to procurement.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative workstyle.
