Project Delivery Lead

The Role

This key role will play a significant part in delivering our growth strategy by leading project delivery activities across our business. You'll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of client projects and strategic business initiatives while overseeing our Project Management and Estimating teams.

You will provide governance across multiple projects and tenders, ensuring delivery meets agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and HSE requirements. Working closely with clients, stakeholders and internal teams, you'll support business growth, strengthen customer relationships and drive continuous improvement across project delivery practices.

In addition, you'll:

• Lead, mentor and develop the Project Management team
• Oversee project governance across a portfolio of client and internal projects
• Support business development activities and identify growth opportunities
• Foster and grow strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Manage tendering, estimating and bid review processes
• Monitor project performance, budgets, forecasting and reporting
• Manage project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented
• Support resource planning to maximise utilisation and project performance
• Drive project quality, lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to support team development
• Oversee contracted Hydrogen Plant Management activities and client deliverables
• Contribute to management reporting and strategic planning activities

About You

As an experienced project delivery professional, you will have a proven track record leading complex industrial, power generation, infrastructure or construction projects from concept through to completion. You'll be a strong relationship builder, commercially astute, and passionate about developing people and delivering successful outcomes.

You'll also bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Project Management
• Strong project management and commercial acumen
• Leadership experience managing project delivery and estimating functions
• Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, clients and contractors
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Strong understanding of risk management, quality systems and compliance requirements
• Experience in geothermal, hydro, power generation or heavy industrial environments (advantageous)
