About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As Team Leader, Quality Engineering, you will lead a team of Test Analysts and Quality Engineers, creating an environment where people thrive, grow and perform at their best. Working closely with the Practice Manager, Quality and Quality Development Lead, you will build capability, strengthen quality practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will help ensure quality standards are embedded across delivery teams, contributing to better outcomes for our customers and helping keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
The appointing salary for this role is $106,351 - $131,077 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

You will bring:
- Experience leading people within quality engineering, testing, software engineering or related technical environments.
- Strong performance leadership capability, including coaching, development planning and managing challenging conversations.
- Experience developing capability across junior, intermediate and senior practitioners.
- A sound understanding of modern quality engineering and testing practices.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
- The ability to balance competing priorities and lead teams through change.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, learning and developing others.
- Proven application and leadership of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the design and delivery of services, systems or processes.
- Strong relationship-building, collaboration and people leadership skills.
- You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
