About the role | Ko te mahi nei
In this role, you will work closely with our three Finance Business Partners, Finance Advisor colleagues and the wider Finance functions and have responsibility for a range of portfolios across the organisation. You'll be involved with reporting, forecasting and transactional functions and become an expert in these areas as well as driving improvements as we seek to maximise investments made in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) systems. You can be creative and innovative when it comes to tailoring reports to the needs of the business and form valuable relationships along the way.

We would like to hear from candidates who:-
- Are confident clear communicators and are willing to learn the organisational structure and our complex business to enable you to provide financial accounting information, analysis and advice.
- Hold a tertiary degree majoring in accounting and/or finance and in addition to this be a CA Member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand
- You will be a true accounting professional and have proven practical experience in management accountanting, budgeting and variance analysis commentary and reporting monthly and annual financial results.
- You love to learn new systems and can demonstrate your skills using tools such as Power BI, Excel and ERP accounting applications, like SAP

- Hours of work - Fulltime Permanent Position
- Location - This position is primarily based at 53 Hereford Street, Christchurch
- Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $105,450 to $117,167 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
