Based in Sydney, our client is an internationally recognised architectural and design practice known for delivering complex, large-scale projects across transport, infrastructure, aviation, commercial, civic and master planning sectors. Their work continues to shape major cities and communities throughout Australia, NZ and Internationally.

Due to continued project growth, they are seeking an Architect or experienced Architectural Designer to join their Sydney studio. This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with 5-10 years of post-graduate experience who is looking to contribute to high-profile projects while developing their technical and design capabilities within a collaborative environment.

The Role

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of complex projects across a range of sectors. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage concept development and design coordination through to technical documentation and project delivery.

The role offers excellent exposure to major infrastructure and public projects, while also providing opportunities to work across commercial, aviation, sports and master planning developments.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Contribute to project delivery across all design and documentation phases
• Develop high-quality design and presentation material
• Produce and coordinate Revit documentation
• Work closely with clients, consultants and external stakeholders
• Participate in project meetings and presentations
• Support project teams through technical coordination and design development
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines and project sectors

Role Requirements

• 5-10 years of post-graduate architectural experience
• Experience and / or interest in infrastructure, aviation, rail, transportation, commercial and sport and recreation sectors
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants and project teams
• Confidence presenting ideas and design solutions during client meetings
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong design sensibility and graphical presentation skills
• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience across all project stages from concept design through to construction documentation
• Positive attitude, initiative and willingness to learn
