Silver Fern Farms is looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our Transformation and Technology team on a fixed-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of the Finegand Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Modernisation Project, a strategically important programme that will help shape the future of our operations.
Based in Dunedin, you'll work closely with Project Managers, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently through strong coordination, governance, reporting, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
This is a full-time fixed-term position covering a 12-month project period.
Te Mahi | Key Responsibilities
In This Role You Will
- Coordinate project activities to support successful project delivery
- Organise and facilitate project governance, steering group, and team meetings
- Prepare project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and communications
- Support project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking
- Monitor project budgets, process invoices, and assist with financial reporting
- Maintain risk, issue, action, and dependency registers
- Work with project stakeholders to ensure actions are followed through and delivery remains on track
- Provide administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and project teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project practices and processes

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or similar project support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- The ability to build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
- Confidence working independently while also contributing as part of a team
- Exposure to project delivery methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMI
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, with SharePoint experience advantageous.
