About The Role

Plumbing World has a fantastic opportunity available in our Wellington branch, with a Trade Sales position now open!

Our Wellington branch is fast-paced, and has an opportunity for a bit of an all-rounder to join their team. This role is going to be busy, so you will be part of the team to keep it humming.

Day to day you will be working on our busy trade counter serving our customers, also assisting with inventory, cycle counting, picking & packing customer orders, plus helping out in other areas of the branch, there is always something to do. You never be bored!

This role is a permanent full-time position working 40-42.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.

Specific start and finish times will be discussed during the interview stage.

Training will of course be given however sales &/or work experience within the plumbing industry or with trade based customers would be an advantage.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have

• Good customer sales & excellent customer service skills
• Administration and excellent attention to detail skills is a must
• Work well under pressure while displaying good sound logic
• Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting (up to 20kgs)
• Good computer skills is essential
• Full, clean New Zealand drivers' licence
• A valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential
• Pride in personal appearance with great interpersonal skills
