The Opportunity

We're looking for a commercially minded

Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team in Auckland.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with Marketing, Sales and R&D, providing financial insight and commercial guidance that supports innovation, marketing investment and profitable growth across some of New Zealand's most loved food brands.

You'll play a key role in evaluating New Product Development (NPD), Direct Marketing Investment (DMI) and strategic business initiatives, helping shape commercial decisions that deliver long-term value.

What You Will Do

• Partner with Marketing, Sales and R&D to support commercial decision-making
• Develop financial models and business cases for new product development and marketing investment
• Deliver commercial insights, performance reporting and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
• Evaluate ROI on marketing and innovation investments
• Present recommendations that influence strategic business decisions
• Support month-end processes and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Will Bring

• CA, CPA or CIMA qualified (or working towards) is desirable
• 3-5+ years' experience in Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and commercial acumen
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills with experience using SAP, BW or other reporting tools
• FMCG, manufacturing, retail or consumer goods experience is highly desirable
• Big Four accounting experience is advantageous
