Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Project Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, purpose-led organisation operating within the financial services sector.

Working closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team, you'll lead strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and key organisational projects that enhance how the organisation connects with its members, consumers and wider stakeholders.

The role

This is a broad sole-charge senior role combining communications leadership, stakeholder engagement, project management and digital innovation.

Initially, you'll play a key role in supporting the implementation of a key IT project. Acting as the bridge between technical and operational teams, you'll develop communications plans, produce user guides and training resources, coordinate stakeholder feedback and help ensure successful adoption of new systems.

Beyond this project, you'll lead a diverse portfolio of work, including:

  • Developing and delivering strategic communications and engagement plans
  • Building strong relationships with members, industry stakeholders and external partners
  • Preparing executive communications including media releases, speeches, presentations and key messaging
  • Managing communications across digital channels including website, newsletters, social media and webinars
  • Supporting conferences, events and stakeholder engagement initiatives
  • Leading publication development including annual reporting and organisational collateral
  • Identifying opportunities to use AI and emerging technologies to improve organisational efficiency and ways of working
  • Providing project management support across strategic organisational initiatives.

About you

We Are Looking For a Proactive, Tech-savvy And Innovative Communications Professional Who Enjoys Variety And Can Confidently Work Across Both Strategic And Hands-on Tasks. You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in communications, stakeholder engagement and content development across digital channels
  • Experience supporting technology, CRM, or organisational change projects from a communications lens
  • Confidence producing clear training guides, process documents, user resources and plain English content
  • A practical understanding of how AI tools can be used to drive efficiencies and improve ways of working
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to work with senior leaders, technical providers, internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience creating content across channels such as websites, newsletters, social media, presentations, webinars and events
  • The ability to work independently, provide proactive advice and keep multiple workstreams moving
  • Experience with video, digital content, media or publications would be advantageous
