About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga

As the Senior Adviser Partner Manager, you will play a key role in driving nib's success by building and maintaining strong relationships with adviser partners.

You will champion the nib adviser proposition, representing the brand in a compelling and positive way to strengthen adviser engagement, foster loyalty, and contribute to improved customer outcomes and satisfaction.

About you | Ko Wai Koe

You have proven experience in strategic relationship management and can confidently represent and promote nib's products, clearly articulating their value and competitive strengths to adviser partners.

A strong relationship builder, you excel at engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, fostering trust and long-term partnerships that drive mutual success.

You also have a sound understanding of the financial, emotional and broader impacts of ill-health, enabling you to have meaningful conversations with advisers and support better outcomes for customers.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive previous experience in a customer service and delivery roles
  • Excellent communication skills including presenting to groups
  • Extensive experience understanding complex concepts and alternatives and explaining them in ways that are easy to understand, remember and present to third parties (i.e. advisers)
  • Experience in the health and life insurance industry in primarily outward facing roles or in an industry that requires similar types of engagement with external third parties and in relation to a comparable product / service (e.g. a product which is intangible and of a sensitive personal nature
  • Understanding of the complementary nature of the public and private health sectors
