We're looking for an experienced
BMS Controls Engineer to take ownership of the Building Management System and associated control systems that support our Terminal. This is a rare opportunity to work on a technically diverse site where no two days are the same.
Working within our Terminal Facilities team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, optimising and continually improving our Building Management System while supporting a wide range of operational and capital projects.

About The Role
Reporting to the Facilities Manager – Terminal, you'll be the technical lead for the Terminal's Building Management System (Siemens Desigo CC) and associated controls infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing and optimising the Terminal Building Management System
- Monitoring and improving HVAC performance and energy efficiency
- Diagnosing and resolving complex controls and automation faults
- Supporting planned maintenance and critical operational responses
- Working closely with contractors, consultants and service providers
- Managing small to medium capital improvement projects
- Commissioning new plant and system upgrades
- Maintaining accurate system documentation and graphics
- Supporting integration between building systems including HVAC, mechanical plant, fire systems, energy monitoring and other smart building technologies
- Identifying opportunities to improve reliability, resilience and sustainability across the Terminal
This role combines office-based engineering with hands-on field work throughout the airport, giving you the opportunity to stay connected with the systems you manage.

What You’ll Bring
- Practical experience with commercial Building Management Systems
- Strong HVAC controls and automation knowledge
- Experience commissioning and fault-finding control systems
- Understanding of BACnet, Modbus and industrial communications
- Experience with PLCs, DDC controllers or similar automation platforms
- Electrical, controls or automation qualifications
- Experience working in complex commercial, industrial or critical infrastructure environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders
- A continuous improvement mindset and genuine curiosity for emerging technology
Experience with Siemens Desigo CC would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right person.
