Our thriving New Plymouth clinic is looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Physiotherapist to join the team! This is an exciting opportunity to lead a passionate group of clinicians while maintaining a varied musculoskeletal (MSK) caseload. You will play a key role in supporting clinical excellence, mentoring your team, driving service improvements, and ensuring clients receive outstanding care.

Working with a diverse range of clients, you'll assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, helping people return to work, sport, and the activities they enjoy. Alongside your clinical work, you'll support the development of your team and contribute to the continued success of the clinic.

Main Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Clinical and Service Leads to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services and support clinic performance.
• Mentor and develop clinicians, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous learning.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practice initiatives within the clinic.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions using evidence-based practice.
• Develop personalised treatment plans that support clients to achieve their health, work, and lifestyle goals.
• Maintain a clinical caseload while balancing leadership responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate

• NZ Physiotherapy registration with a current APC.
• At least 5 years' clinical experience, with a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience is desirable.
• Full NZ Driver Licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes and supporting team development.
