Planning Manager – Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

Westland Milk Products

A bit about the role

Shape the future of planning across one of New Zealand's leading dairy businesses.

We're looking for an experienced planning leader to drive the next evolution of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) across the Yili Oceania group.

As our Integrated Planning Manager, you'll play a critical role in connecting customer demand, supply capability, and financial performance to enable better business decisions. Reporting to the Head of S&OP, you'll lead the continued development of our S&OP/IBP framework and Integrated Tactical Planning process, helping create a truly connected planning culture across the business.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work alongside senior leaders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, and Procurement to align strategic priorities with operational execution.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and enhance our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OP processes
  • Influence key business decisions through data-driven insights and scenario planning
  • Drive alignment between demand, supply, inventory, production, and financial plans
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce risk, and increase agility across the supply chain
  • Champion best-practice planning capability and coach stakeholders across the organisation
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of planning within a growing international business

If you're passionate about turning complexity into clarity and enjoy influencing outcomes across an organisation, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact.

A bit about you

You're an experienced planning professional who thrives on bringing people, processes, and data together to drive better business outcomes.

You have a strong background in supply chain, production planning, demand planning, or Integrated Business Planning within a manufacturing, FMCG, or similarly complex environment.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end planning, S&OP, IBP, or supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • The confidence to engage, challenge, and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for driving positive change
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Advanced Excel capability and experience working with planning systems and tools

Most importantly, you're commercially minded, collaborative, and excited by the opportunity to help shape how planning supports business performance.
