As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll work closely with operational leaders, subject matter experts, project teams, and digital specialists to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver value through technology and process improvement.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to the business, leading discovery activities, facilitating workshops, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of digital initiatives from concept through to implementation. You'll also play an important leadership role within the BA community by mentoring others and helping drive consistent business analysis practices across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and become a trusted advisor.
  • Lead business analysis activities from discovery through to solution delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops, user design sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and innovation.
  • Gather, document, and manage business requirements, user stories, and process maps.
  • Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Support backlog prioritisation, roadmap planning, and delivery alignment.
  • Use emerging tools, including AI, to improve how work is understood, prioritised, and delivered.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support successful implementation outcomes.
  • Act as a link between operational teams, project teams, and digital delivery teams.
  • Mentor and coach other Business Analysts, helping grow capability across the business.
  • Champion continuous improvement and best-practice business analysis methodologies.

About You

You're naturally curious, analytical, and invested in understanding how businesses operate. You enjoy working with people, facilitating conversations, and translating complex challenges into practical solutions.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Process Improvement, or a related area.
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
  • Proven capability in business process analysis and design, ideally with LEAN thinking experience.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • A good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product delivery practices.
  • Experience supporting testing, training, and change activities.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to influence, challenge thinking, and drive positive business outcomes.
  • Curiosity and practical experience using AI or emerging digital tools to improve productivity, problem-solving, or decision-making.
