At Manage My Rental, we’re not looking for someone wanting to “try” property management. We’re looking for a confident, capable professional who already knows what great portfolio management looks like and is ready for a fresh challenge within a supportive, high-performing team.
Manage My Rental is a well-established, Lower Hutt–based residential property management company servicing Wellington City, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt and Porirua. For over a decade, we’ve built a strong reputation for professionalism, clear communication and delivering consistently strong outcomes for both landlords and tenants.
We manage a diverse portfolio, from inner-city apartments to executive standalone homes - and we take pride in doing things properly.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of an existing, tidy portfolio with genuine potential for growth. This is not a starter role; it’s an opportunity for an experienced property manager to step in with confidence, autonomy and the backing of a capable team.
You will
- Manage the full day-to-day operations of your portfolio
- Build strong, trusted relationships with landlords and tenants
- Proactively oversee maintenance and compliance
- Conduct inspections and manage lease renewals
- Mitigate risk and stay ahead of legislation

About You
- Has a minimum of 1 year’s experience managing a residential portfolio in New Zealand
- Is confident managing compliance, maintenance, and difficult conversations
- Thrives on organisation, structure and proactive communication
- Has strong administration and reporting skills
- Holds a Full NZ Driver’s Licence
- Residential Property Management Level 4 qualification (preferred)
- You’re calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and take genuine pride in delivering a high standard of service.
