The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator to become the face of a busy corporate office. As the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and staff, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace.
This position offers a great mix of reception, office administration and facilities coordination responsibilities. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain a professional, welcoming and efficient office environment while providing exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing reception and telephone enquiries
- Welcoming visitors and coordinating front-of-house activities
- Maintaining meeting rooms, shared spaces and office presentation
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, couriers and deliveries
- Ordering and monitoring office supplies, kitchen consumables and PPE
- Coordinating office access cards and security administration
- Raising purchase orders and supporting financial administration processes
- Liaising with cleaners, maintenance contractors and service providers
- Supporting onboarding and facilities inductions for new employees
- Assisting with travel, catering and meeting coordination when required
- Contributing to process improvements and office efficiency initiatives
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a customer service, reception or administration position
- Strong Microsoft Office skills across Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building abilities
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Confidence learning new systems and processes
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to workplace culture
Experience within office administration and reception environments will be highly regarded, along with any relevant administration qualifications.
