Experienced Timber Joiner / Cabinetry Craftsperson – Wellington

We’re working with a well-established Wellington client who has a strong pipeline of exciting high-end residential projects and is looking for an experienced Timber Joiner / Cabinetry Craftsperson to join their team.

This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys being involved from start to finish — from interpreting drawings and preparing materials through to detailed installation and finishing.

You’ll be working across custom cabinetry, joinery, and high-quality residential projects, using your skills to create work that is built properly and finished to a high standard.

About the role

Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing timber joinery and cabinetry
Completing detailed finish carpentry, including fitting, sanding, and final detailing
Working with hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Troubleshooting fit and finish issues on-site
Working alongside other trades to deliver projects on time
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop and worksite

We’re looking for someone who

Has solid experience in timber joinery, cabinetry, or high-end carpentry
Can confidently read drawings and work with precision
Takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
Is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Has strong knowledge of tools, materials, and installation methods
Holds a relevant trade qualification or has strong hands-on experience
