Help shape better business and investment decisions for Ngāi Tahu

Ngāi Tahu Holdings is seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to strengthen financial planning, modelling and decision support. This is an opportunity to continue to shape our FP&A capability and provide the insights that support strategic planning, investment decisions and long-term performance.

Working with Finance colleagues, Investments and Business Unit leaders, you'll help create a more forward-looking, insight-led approach to decision-making that contributes to the growth and protection of the tribal pūtea for future generations.

What you'll do

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
  • Own and enhance the NTHC business planning financial model.
  • Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis and commercial insights.
  • Support investment decisions, business cases and capital management initiatives.
  • Improve reporting, dashboards and analytical capability through tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning and reporting processes.

What you'll bring

  • CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, commercial finance or financial modelling roles.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting planning, forecasting and strategic decision-making in a complex organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • An interest in continuous improvement, modern reporting tools and AI-enabled ways of working.
