Join our award-winning Creative Services team as a Senior Designer and help shape how customers experience some of New Zealand's most recognised insurance brands. We're a passionate and collaborative team, proud of our culture, our creative craft and the impact our work has across the business. This is a role for a designer who thrives on variety — one day you could be developing campaign concepts, the next creating digital content, video assets, environmental graphics or customer communications. You'll combine strategic thinking, creativity and design craft to deliver work that strengthens brands, engages customers and makes a real impact across New Zealand.
This is a fixed-term full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington).
Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do
- Develop creative concepts and visual solutions that bring marketing, communication and brand campaigns to life across multiple channels.
- Create high-quality design assets spanning digital advertising, social content, EDMs, video, web experiences, environmental graphics and customer communications.
- Partner with copywriters, marketers and other stakeholders to translate briefs into compelling creative outcomes across some of NZ's most iconic brands including AMI, State and NZI.
- Present creative ideas and design recommendations with confidence, building stakeholder understanding and support through clear rationale.
- Apply brand guidelines consistently while bringing fresh thinking and creativity to every brief.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring high-quality creative is delivered on time and to a professional standard.
Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring
- Senior Designer-level experience, with 5+ years working in a Designer or Senior Designer role within an agency or in-house creative environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking, exceptional design craft and impactful campaign work across multiple channels.
- Expertise in typography, layout and visual storytelling, with a strong understanding of brand design principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and confidence delivering work from concept through to final production.
- Experience presenting creative concepts and collaborating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience in video editing, motion design, animation or Figma will be highly regarded.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever needed.
