I am working with a global engineering consultancy to find an experienced electrical lead for their Auckland office. With a strong presence across New Zealand, they are known for delivering high-performance, sustainable design solutions on complex projects. They operate across a range of sectors including healthcare, defence, commercial, education, data centres, transport, and community infrastructure.

The job on offer?

Due to continued project wins, they are looking to add an experienced Electrical Building Services Lead to their Auckland team. This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of key clients and deliver electrical design packages across a variety of building projects, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. You’ll be point of contact for the client and manage projects from concept through to delivery, contributing to technically challenging and high-impact projects.

What we’re looking for?

You’ll have experience of managing client relationships and be confident in your technical delivery across complex projects. This may include responsibility for delivering electrical design solutions across lighting, power, and building systems, using industry-standard tools such as Revit and other design/modelling software. You’ll be involved in design documentation, calculations, coordination with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with NZ standards across all phases of delivery.

Ideally, You Will Bring

• Proven experience in electrical building services design
• Strong understanding of NZ standards and project delivery
• Experience across sectors such as healthcare, commercial, or institutional projects
• Healthcare project experience is highly desirable and will be strongly preferred
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong communication skills and client-facing capability
