About the role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join BDO New Zealand, based in our Auckland CBD office.
This is a broad and fast-paced role where you will help coordinate annual Early Careers campaigns across the BDO network, manage our Sir Henare Ngata Scholarship programme, support employer brand activity and provide lateral recruitment advisory support to member firms.
You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, the wider People & Capability community, member firm representatives and external partners to deliver well-organised, high-quality recruitment campaigns and talent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate BDO NZ's annual Early Careers recruitment campaigns, partnering with member firms to deliver successful talent attraction initiatives
- Lead and manage the Sir Henare Ngata Scholarship programme, including communications, governance and stakeholder engagement
- Support employer branding activity across digital, campus and talent attraction channels
- Coordinate the creation and publication of employer brand content and campaign materials
- Provide recruitment advisory support to member firms across the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
- Build strong relationships across the BDO network and contribute to the wider People & Capability community
- Share recruitment insights and best practice through campaign data, market trends and external networks
Experience & Attributes
- 2–3 years' experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sourcing or early careers
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisation, project coordination and attention to detail
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Collaborative, adaptable and aligned to BDO's values
- Professional services experience and a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous
