Are you a leading Geotechnical Engineer looking for the opportunity to leave a legacy and influence Christchurch's future?
We are looking for an experienced New Zealand Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), Geotechnical Engineer (or Engineering Geologist) with at least 8 years in a similar role in a large scale, complex organisation. You will be a proven expert in the geotechnical field with a sound knowledge of relevant legislation, structural design and other geotechnical facets that are unique to Canterbury.

This role will allow you to lead industry working groups and projects that will shape not only yours but the city's future.
As a senior professional advisor, you will provide an unparalleled level of knowledge to various stakeholders on issues relating to the MBIE Guidance, NZ Building Code and Building Act. This is a senior position; it allows you to take true ownership and provide an essential service to the Canterbury community. - Hours of work - 37.5 - 40 hours per week
- Position - Fulltime Permanent
- Location - This position is primarily based at 53 Hereford Street, Christchurch
- Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $135,907 to $151,008 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
