We are partnering with a well-established private sector organisation to recruit a Credit Control professional to join their finance team. This is a critical role focused on managing credit risk, collections, and customer account performance across a large and active customer base.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the organisation’s credit processes, supporting both internal stakeholders and external customers. This is an autonomous credit control position and your responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts receivable processes including collections and follow-ups
- Chasing outstanding balances and issuing credit collection communications
- Reviewing and assessing credit risk for new and existing customer accounts
- Maintaining and reviewing customer credit limits in line with company policies
- Handling disputes and ensuring timely resolution of queries
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience in a Credit Control position and be a confident communicator. This role would suit someone who can work autonomously and is comfortable having direct conversations with customers regarding outstanding balances. The ability to build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders is also essential.
