Branch Manager
Hynds Pipe Systems Limited
We're looking for a driven, people-focused Branch Manager to lead our branch team and drive performance across your territory. You'll take ownership of the branch's financial results, customer relationships, and team culture — setting the strategic direction and leading from the front to deliver on revenue, profit, and cash flow targets.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, growing a high-performing team, and running a safe, efficient, and well-run branch.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving financial performance — owning your branch budget and building a business plan that sets clear direction for the team
- Growing the customer base — analysing territory potential, running a structured call cycle, and identifying opportunities to maximise sales and revenue
- Leading your team — recruiting, coaching, and mentoring branch staff, and setting the standard through your own example
- Owning the numbers — keeping CRM and branch reporting accurate and up to date
- Becoming a product expert — mastering the features and benefits of our product range to support customers and your team
- Championing health and safety— maintaining a safe workplace, proactively managing hazards, and fostering a strong safety culture
- Upholding branch standards — ensuring presentation, service levels, and processes reflect company expectations
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience leading teams in a customer service environment, with a track record of coaching people to high performance
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to take accountability and make things happen
- Strong commercial acumen — you understand what drives business performance and can talk the language of business
- Excellent customer service skills and a natural relationship-builder
- Great attention to detail, particularly when it comes to orders, reporting, and branch performance
- The ability to stay calm and effective under pressure while juggling multiple priorities
- Solid computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, ERP systems — M3 experience an advantage)
- A Class 1 driver's licence with F endorsement
- A reasonable level of physical fitness, with the ability to safely handle products up to 20kg
