Role Summary
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll own a Northland territory spanning Dargaville, Whangarei and coast to coast. The role blends account management with new business development, giving you the chance to grow an already strong portfolio in one of the region’s standout growth areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the territory sales plan across Dargaville, Whangarei and wider Northland.
- Manage and grow existing farmer accounts while actively pursuing new business.
- Deliver proactive, tailored farm advice built on trust and follow-through.
- Build strong relationships direct with farmers, plus retail and merchant partners.
- Represent the brand at local field days and community events.
- Keep CRM and sales pipeline accurate, current and well managed.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales KPIs and targets.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Proven ability to manage and grow accounts alongside winning new business.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a self-starter mindset.
- Comfortable with significant travel across a large rural territory.
- Agricultural background or farm systems knowledge highly regarded.
- On-farm technical sales experience preferred; strong retail/merchant candidates also considered.
- Confident using CRM and digital sales tools.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
