About the Role
Northpower is looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to oversee the delivery of network service projects and fault response work. You will ensure that all operational, regulatory, and customer requirements are consistently met, while driving performance, managing risks, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. This role plays a key part in upholding Northpower’s reputation for quality and reliability.
Role Responsibilities
The project manager role is responsible for delivering projects and fault work safely, efficiently, and in line with operational, regulatory, and customer requirements. This includes managing the full job lifecycle, maintaining accurate document control and job records, updating Powerco's OMS for R2 faults, coordinating materials, resources, subcontractors, and required approvals, and preparing comprehensive work packs to support field delivery. The role also monitors project and fault financial performance by reviewing budgets, forecasts, and actual costs, managing invoicing, and providing accurate reporting to clients and internal stakeholders, while consistently meeting or exceeding performance targets and ensuring high-quality customer outcomes.
Experience
- Strong project management experience ideally within utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to interpret financial data and manage budgets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly under pressure.
- Familiarity with scheduling systems, reporting tools, and relevant industry processes.
- Experience in network operations or fault management (advantageous).
