Are you highly organised, proactive and great at keeping things on track? We’re looking for an IT Coordinator to provide coordination and administrative support across Parliament IT’s planning, performance, delivery and commercial activities.

Parliament IT is on a journey to deliver exceptional, customer-centered digital services across the Parliamentary precinct. The IT Planning & Performance team sits at the heart of that work, supporting planning, governance, projects, reporting and commercial activities that help keep our organisation moving.
About the role | Mō te tūnga
This is a varied and rewarding coordination role where no two days are quite the same.
As our IT Coordinator, you'll work closely with leaders and teams across Parliament IT to keep activities organised, connected and moving forward. You'll support planning cycles, reporting, governance processes, supplier coordination, projects, meetings and team administration, helping create the conditions for others to do their best work.
We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, has a natural eye for detail, and loves helping people succeed.
What you'll bring | Tō kete
You don't need to come from an IT background, but you will bring:
- Outstanding organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- The ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and willingness to pitch in.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 tools and systems.
- Understanding of financial management, including cost tracking and financial reporting.
Experience maintaining or administering Power BI reports and dashboards, including refreshing data, validating report accuracy, managing access permissions and supporting regular performance reporting, would be highly desirable.

The appointing salary range for this role is $66,097.00 to $72,754.00 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience. Please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression.
