Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant tertiary education institution offering programmes from certificates through to doctorates across a wide range of disciplines.
We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Administrator to join our friendly and efficient Finance team. In this role, you will process supplier invoices and credits, reconcile outstanding purchase orders, enter data into the finance system, and respond to queries from suppliers, vendors and staff.
Proven experience in accounts payable administration, with a sound understanding of accounts payable procedures and processes.
Experience with modern FMIS systems.
Financial data entry experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
A strong customer service work ethic.
A results-focused approach.
Competence in using Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A full, clean driver’s licence
You will be well organised, flexible, able to work under pressure, and confident building positive working relationships. Knowledge of tikanga Māori and the ability to kōrero te reo Māori at a basic level, or a willingness to upskill, are desirable.
