The Opportunity | Te kōwhiringa
This is a great opportunity to start your career within our Transport & Infrastructure Surfacing team based in New Plymouth.
Working as part of a team, you’ll be involved in a number of road sealing activities, like reseals, first coats, patching and commercial work.
You’ll also need to ensure correct spray rates, conduct quality checks, drive the sprayer truck and look after the plant when required.
Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua
As you’ll be working on some pretty heavy machinery, you’ll ideally bring with you a Class 5 license.
You’ll also be a team player and need some experience and a keen interest in roading and chip-sealing work. You’ll couple this with:
A great work ethic – you’ll be part of a busy team and working some long hours is required (but you’ll be rewarded accordingly)
Be flexible, able to travel and stay away from home (we work all over the place)
Strong focus on Safety, Quality and protecting our Environment
Problem solving skills to solve daily challenges
