The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced

Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure to join a growing and highly regarded consultancy team.

This role will see you taking ownership of infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring successful delivery across scope, programme, budget and quality objectives. You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, build strong stakeholder relationships and provide leadership across project teams.

The position requires a commercially astute project manager who can confidently navigate complex environments, influence outcomes, manage competing priorities and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading infrastructure projects from business case and planning through to delivery and handover
  • Managing client relationships and acting as the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Developing project strategies, programmes, risk management plans and reporting frameworks
  • Leading procurement processes, tender evaluations and contract administration
  • Managing project budgets, forecasting and financial performance
  • Influencing decision-making and driving successful project outcomes
  • Leading and mentoring a small project team

Role Requirements

To Be Successful In This Position, You Will Bring

  • A minimum of 10 years' project management experience, ideally within infrastructure, transport, civil, utilities or related sectors
  • Proven experience successfully delivering projects from initiation through to completion
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and navigate complex environments
  • Experience managing procurement processes, contracts and commercial negotiations
  • Strong financial management and project controls capability
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing a small team
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, project management or a related discipline
