We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to join a busy private medical clinic in Remuera for a 6-week temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional healthcare environment and can hit the ground running.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 32.5 hours per week

About the Role

As the first point of contact for patients, you will provide exceptional administrative support and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments using Cliniko
  • Responding to patient enquiries via phone and email
  • Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • General administrative and reception support
  • Assisting with other office duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a medical administration or medical reception role
  • Essential: Experience using Cliniko
  • Desirable: Experience using Elixir
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinic environment
  • A professional, friendly, and compassionate approach
