Fire Protection Estimator

We require a Fire Protection Estimator to join our Auckland Estimating team. Consideration will also be given to an experienced Fire Alarm Technician, Sprinkler Fitter, Project Manager, or an Estimator from another field looking to move into this Estimating role. The role involves pricing a wide range of fire alarm system and sprinkler projects throughout the Auckland area for both new and existing clients.

The Estimator position works closely with our project management teams and involves handing over secured work for execution by our high-performing installation team.

Argus Fire has a strong focus on providing quality installations and service, and the candidate must have:

• A background in the fire protection industry with a good knowledge of NZS4512, NZS4541, and the Building Act, or a record of strong performance in Estimating.
• Commercially focused and the ability to maximise opportunities

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be competent in reading and understanding plans, fire reports, and specifications
• Have excellent customer service skills

Packages will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
