Ventia is on the hunt for an experienced

SHEQ Advisor to support the delivery of facilities management and maintenance services across the Auckland Council contract.

In this role, you'll work closely with operational teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements, conduct audits and investigations, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement across health, safety, environment, and quality outcomes.

About You

Minimum 3 years' experience in a SHEQ/HSE Advisor role

Relevant Health & Safety qualification (Diploma, Degree, NEBOSH or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of HSWA 2015, risk management, audits, and incident investigations (ICAM preferred)

Experience working across multiple sites and engaging diverse stakeholders

Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
