Draughtsperson

HEB Construction is a dynamic and innovative leader in the construction of New Zealand's Infrastructure. We are involved with a variety of projects from road construction and maintenance through to earthworks, drainage, marine works, and major projects of national significance.

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draughtsperson to join our Structures team, with the flexibility to be based in Tauranga, Auckland or Christchurch. You'll play a key role in developing accurate technical drawings, models, and documentation, working closely with engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver high-quality structural solutions. About You

You’ll bring:

• A qualification in AutoCAD, CAD Drafting, or equivalent
• 4+ years of professional draughting experience
• A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and MS Office
• Strong ability to read, interpret and prepare engineering and construction drawings, designs, and specifications
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Producing accurate technical drawings, models, and project documentation using 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Preparing structural and construction drawings in line with project requirements and specifications
• Collaborating with Engineers, Project Managers, and project teams to support the delivery of quality outcomes
• Managing drawing revisions and maintaining project records
• Reviewing drawings for accuracy and compliance
