Woodham Road Medical Centre - General Practitioner (GP)

Woodham Road Medical is looking for up to two General Practitioners to join their friendly and experienced team. Our teaching practice has a great team culture and our GPs work with each other and with our patients to provide the best health outcomes. Our team is highly expereinced, and rally around each other in what we know is a challenging environment with high needs patients.

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. As an experienced GP ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

You will bring to the role:

• Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilise your experience
• Great communication skills
• Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
• Interested in providing healtcare to high needs patients
• Hold a current APC
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand at the time of employment

This is a permanent position with negotiable hours, preferably 8 sessions per week. You will be required to work some evenings in accordance with the regional shared after-hours roster.

This position is open to international medical graduates (IMGs) from comparable health countries, we are able to support your transition into NZ healthcare through structured supervision and a supportive team environment.
