Coach Driver - Doubtful Sound

Doubtful Sound, the birthplace of RealNZ, is more than just a destination, it's a legacy. Since 1954, we've been sharing the magic of this remote and awe-inspiring place with visitors from around the globe. Now, we're looking for experienced and passionate coach drivers to help us continue that tradition.

As a Coach Driver, you'll be the first and last face our guests see on their journey and you'll make it unforgettable. You'll safely navigate the steep and scenic Wilmot Pass, all while bringing the story of Doubtful Sound to life through engaging, authentic commentary. Your role is about more than just driving, it's about creating a connection between people and place.

This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity running from September 2026 to March 2027, perfect for someone who thrives in a seasonal, adventure-filled role.

Who are we looking for?

• A Class 2 Licence (minimum) with a P-endorsement, or the ability to obtain one
• A clean NZ driver's licence
• Proven coach driving experience
• A valid NZ work visa covering the entire length of the role
• The ability or willingness to give commentary to passengers in English
• Experience driving gravel or alpine roads is an advantage
• A genuine passion for storytelling
• Most importantly, you'll bring a spirited personality that makes every guest feel welcome, informed, and inspired
